An interesting morning at work today with all our year group staff rushing around making last minute improvements to staging, props and dance routines to our end of year production. As our first performance to parents was at 2 pm it was all hands on deck.
The performance went suprisingly well, with only a couple of mistakes which the parents did not seem to notice.
As it was also our open day after school, me and another TA ended up putting away 40 chairs, the staging and 9 benches on our own. To say I was exhausted by the time I got home was an understatement.
I got home at 4 pm, quickly had a cold drink then drove into town to pick up a 3 Mobile Broadband dongle. I needed this ready for Saturday as I was going to spend the first 4 weeks of the school holidays in Weymouth, at our caravan, and would need it to carry on blogging everyday.
On the way home I picked up fish and chips for all the family, as hubby was going model car racing again tonight.
Our oldest son, Mark, decided he wanted a 4 generations and family photo so while I was at the chip shop he organised a photo of my father-in-law, hubby, himself and his son, Josh. On my return we eat then Me, hubby, Mark and our 6 other children had our family photo done. Mark got us all in position then took the picture by a remote control. He took several pictures then told everyone to lark about for a few fun photos. Unbeknown to hubby and me the older boys were snogging each other and mooning in the back ground. Not a pretty sight, boys ah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway we had a go laugh looking at the photos, especially the one were me and hubby were bowing our head in disgust at what they had been up to behing our backs. The look of shame was classic………..
