I woke up early feeling not so stiff this morning so I promptly put on the Claire Sweeney/WeightWatchers DVD and did a 30 minute workout. Exhaustedly I crawled into the shower to freshen up.

As we went for breakfast the sky looked very grey, so we expected the worst, weather wise, but after a late breakfast in the club restaurant we walked outside into brilliant sunshine.

By the time we had had a tidy up in the caravan it was gone midday. Emily was dead against cycling so we agreed to walk again today, destination the Market next to Radipole Lake.

It was a long walk but we were getting good now and managed it easily. We stopped off at Lidl for some cold drinks, fruit and a pack of 5 sausage rolls. We then sat on the grass in the park opposite Radipole Lake and had a sausage roll each, which was extremely tasty, with our fruit and drink. Watered and fed we continued to walk to Matalan and then onto Pets at Home.

Matthew’s pet hamster had died of old age a couple of weeks before we left for Weymouth and as the girls had brought theirs with them he was feeling a bit left out! So in a moment of weakness we agreed to buy him another hamster and, of course, a cage to put it in!
